Omaid Homayun

I’ve been coaching job seekers to help them land their dream jobs for 6 years. I write about inspirational career advice on Forbes. I was once interviewing New York Times Bestselling author Jon Acuff and he allowed me to record our interview for my note-taking purposes. That conversation blew my mind and I wish I could have share it with others. Right then, the podcast was born because I decided to make sure the audio for every interview thereafter was available on my podcast.

Through interviewing some of the most successful business leaders and entrepreneurs on my show (To The Top: Inspirational Career Advice) I’ve learned how they’ve launched their careers and I’ve uncovered real-life advice we can apply in our own lives. My guests have ranged from business leaders, athletes and even Michelin Star chefs. There is so much to learn about what it takes to be successful from people in all walks of life.

I’ve worked in various sales & marketing roles at BlackBerry, Google, and Gartner. I continue to apply what I learn from my career, research, books, and guests to shape what a fulfilled life and career look like. Simon Sinek said that work-life balance isn’t about how much yoga you do. It’s about feeling safe at home and at work. I believe everyone should be doing meaningful work, in a safe environment, that fulfills them.

You’ll find my writing and podcasting here on the site. I’m always interested to hear from readers, please contact me if you have any comments, questions, or feedback.
